Complaint Anent Souldiers
Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander in cheiff of ther Majesties forces uithin this kingdome Declared in open Councell That Having heard some Rumors of souldiers Living disordorly in the Country noe Complaint had hitherto been made to him of any such disordors And if therafter ther should He declared he uould redress them to full satisfactione And in case any persones uould Instruct to him that any souldier is resting payment of meat and drink He uould pay the same himself The Commissaries appoynted by the Lords of Thesaurie being ordored to pay the horse provisiones And furder declared in Counsell that if any should Instruct they Have heretofore Compleaned and uere not redressed He uas content presently to redress the same upon his oune charges
