The Lords of there Majesties privie Councill doe hereby recomend to the Earle of Leven Viscount Tarbat Lord Justice Clerk Lord Fountainhall Laird of Grant and Sir Thomas Livingstoun or any three of them to meet and Considder what are the fittest methods to be followed for the speedie raising of seamen That his majesties Royall pleasure in his Late Letter to the Councill may receave punctuall obedience And for that effect to Consider what wes done by the Councill Last year for Levyeing of seamen then requyred And Lykewayes to Consider such offers as shall be made to them by particular persones anent the Levyeing of seamen and the termes of these offers And report to the Councill on thursday next
