Liberatione James Mcgill

The Lords of their Majesties privy Councell Doe Heirby Give ordor and uarrand to the Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of their tolbooth to sett at Libertie James Mcgill prisoner for his alleadged disaffectione to the Government being seized as Coming from France In respect he hath inacted himself to Live peacably under and uith all submissione to the present government of their Majesties King William and Queen Mary And that he shall not Act Consult nor Contryve any thing in prejudice therof nor Converse or correspond uith any rebells And that he shall appear before the saids Lords when called for under the penalty of Fiftie pounds Sterline
